Fantastic service, great food and an amazing view outside. We go here every year and will continue to visit!

Super poor customer service. First customer on a Tuesday at 5 pm from out of town, and told we needed a reservation. Ate at Buck Rub Pub instead and it was excellent!

We go there as often as we can during the summer and finally have learned to call 2 weeks in advance even for 1 person! Their rainbow grille martini is to die for and the wedge salad is delicious best dressing ever!! All entrees are the best, I can’t wait until we can eat in!!!

Need reservations. Wont take ppl that arnt staying there

A hidden gem of a restaurant in the Great North Woods. If in the area, try the Rainbow Trout app and Woodsman steak. 5 star quality. Linda and Candy are wonderful as well. Great place!

I've been here several times - both for just drinks and tavern menu as well as a full dinner. Food is amazing and staff is really friendly. Lobster pie was to die for and the chicken parm was the best I ever had. They have a strict reservation policy; we ran into an old friend in town and they were able to accomodate us (even though he just picked at our food and never ordered any of his own - that's what friends are for I guess!). We usually stay at Tall Timber when ever we're up there and will always eat at the Rainbow Grille!

Crazy good! Remarkably good food, great choices, impeccable service and a dining room to soothe your soul.

Delicious food, great service, comfortable and cozy atmosphere

The food was excellent, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3. We called to make reservations, and left a message on the machine. There is poor cell service in the area, so I never got the message that the hostess would not give us a reservation. When we arrived, we were told very rudely there was no reservation for us. The hostess Sat us in the bar, and acted like it was a horrible chore to seat us. The whole time we were eating, there were 4 empty tables, so there was no reason to be so rude, like we were putting them out.

This is the place where I had the best prime rib ever in my life. My husband always wants to come back to Pittsburgh NH just to have prime rib here. The streak was just melted in my mouth. Not talking about the juice, so flavorful from beef and rosemary herb seasoning (and more which I cannot identify). Will definitely comeback just to have the steak. The menu has a lot more options and we wanted to come back for lunch the next they but they were full booked.

Unbelievable food and service stayed there for a couple nights it is a great place I brought my kids and they had a blast snowmobiling!!!

Excellent food and service

Nice atmosphere and cool lakeside location. Best restaurant in town. But comes across as trying too hard. Cozy dining room; you can hear everyone's conversations. Good food but too expensive for the quality. I realize remote location dictates higher prices.

Great ambiance and delicious food. I wish the fish were local and they had local game, but overall one of the nicest restaurants in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here for my 25th birthday last night. It was a wonderful experience. Last time we were up here for our honeymoon but it was during mud season and everything was closed. We were happy to be able to have dinner here this time around. Our server, Melanie, was cheerful, helpful, and very sweet. The food was delicious and came out perfectly, as far as timing. There was enough time to enjoy each component (appetizer, soup/salad, entree, etc.) before the next item came out. I would highly suggest this restaurant! It's homey, the tables are close enough that we enjoyed conversation with a few couples who were also vacationing, but separated enough to have private conversation, too. It was an overall beautiful dining experience and we will be back every time we make the trip up here! Thank you Rainbow Grille!

Dinner at the Rainbow Grille, mid-week, not a busy night there, usually a busy place! Friendly waitress, nice environment with a pretty view. Great margaritas! Filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes and veggie for dinner. The filet was perfect, cooked medium as requested, so delicious!

This place is amazing. Upscale food with comfort food pricing and atmosphere. Get the Woodsman Steak, you will not regret it.

The best North country has to offer

Hands down the best food you are getting in Pittsburg. Apps are great. Good portions and the menu is way larger than you would expect for a place it's size and it's location. Service was also good and we didn't wait long for anything.

The food is okay and probably considered upscale for the region especially since it overlooks a beautiful lake. IMO the dishes are overpriced for basic stuff. My recommendation to the owners and chef is to reduce the number of items in the menu and elevate the signature dishes a bit more.

Good hearty food and excellent service. The food has quality ingredients and ample portions. Prices are higher for norther New Hampshire but the quality of the mean more than makes up for it. This is a must visit for a nice evening out and a great meal with family or friends.

Very good place to eat awesome food awesome place to stay very friendly service I have eaten there and stay there for about 20 years off and on Never Have I Ever Had a Bad meal and stayed in the cabins as well

We love the Rainbow Grille and Timber Lodge! It’s been 5 years since we’ve been back to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The quality and service of the food remains the same, through the roof! We drove 5.5 hours to celebrate with them once again! Totally worth it. My wife and I have gluten allergies and my wife has a gluten and dairy allergy. They were very knowledgeable and on top of it.

If you're going to be in Pittsburg, you really should get dinner here. The food is outstanding. If you like seafood, try the Mill Cove Pie!

This place shouldn't be considered a 5 star restaurant 3rd time trying this place the waitress took her time had to ask for our drinks order soup the soup came out cold when our meals came out one was warm the other two were cool like the cook just left them sitting off too the side waiting for the the last plate to get finished you could hear a older female in the kitchen being very belligerent and arrogant to her staff most likely the owner by how she was speaking made for a very uncomfortable experience it's no wonder why the waitress look reluctant to be there, only decent thing about the entire experience is the view of the lake deffinatly not a 5 star restaurant experience with staff everything over priced typical for the area the Buck Rub up the rd is more worth the time and money to go grab a good meal never had a issue there and the buck rub are the only ones around who know how to cook a Steak in the area most likely will not be back to the Rainbow Grill again
